1. What are UMI NAILS Press-On Nails?

UMI NAILS provides premium handmade press-on nails, including ready-to-wear styles and 1V1 private bespoke custom nails. All products are crafted with high-quality, skin-safe, ultra-thin materials to create salon-level, reusable, and natural-fitting nail art without damaging your natural nails.

2. Are your nails reusable?

Yes. Our handmade press-on nails are durable and reusable with proper application and removal. With careful maintenance, they can be reused multiple times for different occasions.

Custom Order Questions

3. What is 1V1 Private Custom Nail Service?

Our 1V1 custom service means every nail set is tailor-made according to your personal nail sizes, preferred length, shape, color, design style, and usage scenarios. Unlike mass-produced nails, custom nails perfectly fit your finger curves and match your personal aesthetic.

4. How do I submit my nail sizes for custom orders?

You can measure your nail bed width and submit the exact size data during checkout. We also provide a standard size guide for reference. For the most accurate fit, you can send us clear nail photos for professional guidance.

5. Can I modify my custom design after placing an order?

Design modifications are only available before production starts. Once the handmade production process begins, no further changes, cancellations, or refunds are allowed due to the personalized bespoke nature of custom orders.

6. Will custom nails have slight differences from the reference picture?

All our nails are 100% handmade. Minor subtle differences in color, texture, and tiny handcraft details are inevitable and unique to handmade products. These slight differences are not considered quality defects.

Order & Payment Questions

7. What payment methods do you accept?

We support global mainstream secure payment methods. All transactions are encrypted and processed by official third-party payment gateways to ensure your payment safety.

8. Can I cancel my order?

Order cancellation is only permitted before production begins. Once your custom order enters the handmade production queue, it is considered final sale and cannot be cancelled, modified, or refunded due to its personalized bespoke nature. For in-stock ready-to-wear orders, cancellation is available before shipment.

9. Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?

Address modifications are allowed before the order is shipped. Please contact our customer service promptly with your correct shipping information. We cannot update the address once the package has been dispatched, and we are not responsible for delivery failures caused by customer-provided incorrect addresses.

Production & Shipping Questions

10. How long is the production & shipping time?

Custom 1V1 handmade nails require 15–30 business days for production. In-stock ready-to-wear nails will be shipped within 1–5 business days. International shipping generally takes 7–20 business days, depending on your country, logistics routes, and customs processing. Shipping delays caused by customs inspection, weather, or global logistics issues are beyond our control.

11. Do you ship worldwide?

Yes, UMI NAILS provides worldwide international shipping services to most countries and regions globally.

12. Will I be charged customs duties or import taxes?

All international orders may be subject to local import taxes, customs duties, or handling fees charged by your local customs department. These fees are the customer’s sole responsibility. We do not cover customs fees and cannot adjust declared values to avoid customs regulations.

Return, Refund & After-Sales Questions

13. Can I return or exchange my custom nails?

All 1V1 private custom nails are final sale. Returns, exchanges, and refunds are not available once production is completed. We only offer free remakes or full refunds for confirmed production errors, wrong items, or obvious craftsmanship defects on our end.

14. Can I return or exchange ready-to-wear nails?

In-stock ready-to-wear press-on nails can be returned or exchanged within 10 days after delivery, provided the items are unused, unopened, unmodified, and kept in original packaging. Return shipping fees are borne by the customer.

15. What should I do if I receive defective or wrong items?

Please contact our customer service within 48 hours after receiving your package, and provide clear photos or videos of the defective, damaged, or incorrect items. After verification, we will provide free remake, replacement or full refund services with no extra cost.

16. How long does the refund process take?

Once your refund application is approved, the refund will be processed within 7-10 business days. The actual arrival time depends on your payment platform and bank processing speed.

Usage & Maintenance Questions

17. Are press-on nails safe for my natural nails?

Absolutely safe. Our press-on nails are made of high-grade, skin-safe, non-toxic ultra-thin materials. No nail grinding, no glue damage, and no chemical irritation is required during application. They effectively protect your natural nails and are suitable for long-term use, even for users with thin or fragile nails.

18. How to apply and remove press-on nails correctly?

We recommend cleaning and drying your nail surface before application for better adhesion. For removal, soak your nails in warm water or use professional nail remover glue to gently peel off the nails. Do not forcibly pry or tear the nails to avoid damaging your nail plates.

19. How to maintain my press-on nails for repeated use?

After removal, clean the residual glue on the nail surface, store the nails in the original packaging box, and avoid extrusion, high temperature and moisture. Proper maintenance can keep the nails intact and reusable for multiple wears.

20. Why do nails fall off easily?

Falling off is usually caused by unclean nail surface, oil residue, improper application, or finger touching water too early. Please follow our application tutorial to ensure a dry, clean nail base before pasting, which can greatly improve the wearing firmness and durability.

21. What design styles can be customized?

We support all kinds of personalized custom styles, including minimalist daily styles, French manicure, gradient, halo dye, rhinestone luxury styles, retro, INS trend, national style, portrait customization, exclusive letter and pattern customization, and more. You can provide reference pictures, and we will restore and optimize the design for you.

22. Can you customize nails for special occasions?

Yes. We provide exclusive customized services for weddings, birthdays, parties, festivals, daily commuting, interviews and other different scenarios. We will match the appropriate nail length, style and texture according to your usage scene and personal temperament.

23. Are handmade nail details exactly the same as the reference picture?

All products are purely handmade, so slight differences in color rendering, tiny hand-made traces and subtle texture differences are normal and unique features of handmade artworks, which do not belong to quality problems. We will restore the core style and effect of the reference picture 100%.
